Once your friends receive your message, they have to respond by typing a truth or a challenge, respectively.  Once they’ve responded, the app will automatically take you back to your chat window so you can continue playing.

Truth or Dare is a social app that allows you to play a question or dare with your friends and see what happens.  Truth or Dare is free to download from the App Store and Google Play and can be played with up to 10 people.  To start playing, select a question from the list on the left side of the screen or type a new one.  You then choose whether you play the truth or dare.  On the right side of the screen, you will see all your friends who are currently online.  If you want to play Truth or Dare with someone who is not online, you can invite them by tapping their name and selecting “Invite”.  When they join the game, they appear in green at the top of the screen.

To start playing a question or dare, select it from the list on the left side of the screen.  On the right side of the screen, you will see all your friends who are currently online.  If you want to play truth or dare with someone who is not online, you can invite them by tapping on their name and selecting ‘Invite’.  When they join the game, they appear in green. When you’re ready to start playing, select “Start Game”.  You will then be given the option to choose a question from the list on the left side of the screen, or type in a new one.  If you choose to play a question, you will be prompted to select one of your friends to play with. If you choose to enter a new question, it will be sent to all your friends and will not be available until everyone has had a chance to answer it.

Once everyone has had a chance to answer the question or play the dare, the game ends and the results are shown on the right side of the screen.  If someone chooses to take a truth serum, they will be unresponsive for a few minutes and the game will end shortly after.  If someone chooses to take on a challenge, the next action is chosen at random from the list on the right side of the screen.

How to respond to truth or dare questions

Truth or Dare can be a lot of fun, but it can also be dangerous.  Here are some tips for responding when you get a truth or dare question:

-If the question is personal, don’t answer it.  Your friends probably wouldn’t want you to say anything embarrassing about them.
-If the question is potentially dangerous, such as asking if you would jump off a bridge, think about how you would answer it before answering.  If you don’t feel safe answering the question, tell your friend you don’t want to play the game and walk away from the table.
-Don’t give away too much information.  For example, if someone asks if you’re in love with them, don’t admit that you do.  Just say you have strong feelings for them and leave it at that.
-If someone asks a question that is inappropriate for the game, tell them right away that it is not appropriate and that he should stop playing with that person.
